SE Drops Back End of Road Swing

SEARCY, Ark. – Southeastern's offense struggled to find traction on Saturday afternoon in a 63-46 road loss at Harding in Searcy, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 8-10 overall on the year and 6-7 in Great American Conference play.

Tracy Johnson came off the bench and dropped 10 points to lead all SE scorers, shooting 50 percent from the field and hitting a pair of threes.

Emem David was next in line with eight, while Sa'Liesha Hunter dished out four assists.

The Storm shot 30.2 percent from the field for the game.

David also pulled down a game-high eight rebounds as SE finished with 31 as a team.

Both teams were slow to get going, with Southeastern taking a 9-8 lead after one quarter.

The flow switched in the second quarter where the Storm added 11 points, while Harding picked up the pace with 21 to open up a 29-20 lead at the break.


HU held a 19-13 edge in the third quarter as well to open up a double-digit edge before the teams played a near even fourth and SE closed to a 63-46 loss.
