The Cherokee Outlet Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) met for an informational meeting and the election of officers. These officers will take office at the end of this year’s May meeting for a term of two years. Phyllis Wiersig, a member of the chapter, spoke of the activities of a group of American Indian men during World Wars I and II. During the wars the Allied messages were being read and listened to by our opponents.
