ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State baseball team had a resilient three-game series against the Great American Conference's leading team, Arkansas-Monticello.

Northwestern battled back from a large deficit in the first game to fall to UAM, 9-4. The Rangers answered in the first game of a Saturday doubleheader with a 7-3 victory, only to lose in an extra-inning rubber match in the series finale, 11-8, in nine innings.

With the Rangers leading 7-0 after four innings in the second game on Saturday, UAM scored eight unanswered runs to take an 8-7 lead into the final inning. The situation...
