Former OC standout Page receives NW Oklahoma coaching honor

ENID, Okla. (May 22, 2018) – The Enid News and Eagle has named former Oklahoma Christian standout Brady Page as its Northwest Oklahoma Boys Coach of the Year for high school basketball.

This past season, Page guided the Hennessey Eagles to their third trip to the Oklahoma prep state tournament in his seven seasons at the Kingfisher County school. Hennessey, which also made the state tournament in 2012 and 2015 under Page, finished with a 25-3 record.

Coaches in the newspaper's coverage area voted on the award.

Page played for OC from 2002 to 2006, starting at point guard for the Eagles. He was an NAIA All-America third-team selection as a senior in 2006 and a three-time All-Sooner Athletic Conference pick.

After leaving OC, Page worked for three seasons as an assistant under his father, legendary Oklahoma prep coach David Page, at Pawnee High School before becoming the head coach at Hennessey. Brady Page won two state titles as a player at Yale High School and three more as an assistant at Pawnee.
