OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 15, 2018) – In a chippy game mostly played in the rain, Rogers State downed Oklahoma Christian 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Eagle Soccer Field.

The teams battled mostly on even terms in the first half, although Rogers State (5-1, 2-0 Heartland Conference) led 1-0 after Melissa Cardenas converted a penalty kick that officials awarded after an OC foul in the penalty box in the 15th minute. Not long thereafter, rain began falling and continued throughout the rest of the game.
