Football: WONDER BOYS FALL IN SEASON FINALE AT HARDING

SEARCY, Ark. – Bryan Allen rushed for 71 yards to become the Arkansas Tech all-time leading rusher with 3,622 career rushing yards, but the Wonder Boys football team (3-8, 3-8 Great American Conference) was unable to solve the high-octane rushing attack or the nation's second-ranked defense in a 28-0 loss to No. 25 Harding (9-2, 9-2 GAC) in Tech's season finale on Saturday.

NOTABLES

Allen became the all-time leading rusher in school history as his 71 rushing yards catapulted him ahead of Larry Brown's all-time record of 3,410 career yards. Allen finished his Wonder Boy career with 3,622 rushing yards.


KJ Reid's 12 tackles led all players. Reid finished his Tech career with 287 tackles, marking the ninth most in school history. Cua' Rose added nine tackles, which gave him 295 career tackles, which is the sixth most in school history.

Manny Harris went 10-for-18 with 76 passing yards, Isaac Disney led the team with three catches for 30 yards.

Harding compiled 416 total yards, with 360 coming on the ground, compared to Tech's 156 total yards. HU was also 7-11 on third down, while the Wonder Boys were 2-9.
