TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State University women’s basketball team got off to a hot start early in its season opener against Central Oklahoma on Friday, only to fall to the Bronchos 64-53 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

It was the first game of the Mid-American Collegiate Athletic Association/Great American Conference crossover event taking place at Northeastern State. Northwestern (0-1) will look to rebound Saturday evening when they take on NSU Saturday evening at 5 p.m.
