Evelyn Hofen hosted the monthly meeting of the Tulip Garden Club in her home on Nov. 14, 2018. Her tables overflowed with the warmth of fall accentuated with brown tableware, pumpkins and candles. Hofen's buffet featured Asian dumpling stew, curried rice, beef with onions and chives served on lettuce, cranberry orange bread, and cookies. Beverages were orange spice tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water. Members were given small pumpkins or scarecrows for their favors.
