Northwestern Oklahoma State University softball is set to host its 2019 Winter Camp, head coach Jill Devries announced on Wednesday.

In what has become an annual event for Devries and her staff, the 2019 camp will take place Sunday, Feb. 3, inside the Dunning Performance Center in Alva. There will be an early session for hitting, followed by a separate pitching/catching session later in the morning.

The day will begin with registration at 7 a.m. for the hitting session, with the instructional portion beginning at 8 and running until 11. Pitching/hitting registration will immediately follow at 11, and begin the instruction time at 11:30 to 1 p.m.

All skill levels are invited to attend the camp. Participants are required to bring all necessary softball equipment, including: glove, bat, helmet, catcher’s gear, etc.

Each player will be given one-on-one instruction of basic fundamentals for hitting, pitching or catching.

A medical waiver must be filled out upon arrival, per requirement.
