Ottie Ray, son of Benjamin and Mary Mahala (Province) Savely, was born May 10, 1935, and passed away January 27, 2019. Ottie lived nearly all his life in Freedom, Oklahoma, and graduated with the class of 1954. In 1957 he was drafted and served two years in the Army where he trained as a helicopter mechanic and served as crew chief on H-19 helicopters with the 82nd Medical Detachment Helicopter Ambulance.
