Muleriders suffer road loss to Henderson State after slow start offensively

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – A slow start offensively coupled with a hot shooting Henderson State squad was enough to down Southern Arkansas' efforts on Thursday night inside the Duke Wells Center as the Reddies defeated the Muleriders 82-63 in Great American Conference action which snapped a four-game winning streak for SAU.

The Muleriders (16-5, 11-4 GAC) struggled from the perimeter in the loss as they made just three of 21 attempts in addition to suffering 16 turnovers. SAU was 18-of-23 from the free throw line, while the Reddies struggled from the stripe (12-of-21).
