Lady Rangers Basketball Summer Camp, High School Skills Camp set

 


ALVA, Okla. – As the academic calendar continues to wind down, the slate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University sports camps continue to grow.

The Northwestern women’s basketball program is excited to announce the addition of two camps to their 2019 Summer schedule. The Northwestern Lady Ranger Summer Camp is slated for March 30-June 1 and the Lady Ranger High School Skills Camp is scheduled for Aug. 2.

At the Lady Ranger Summer Camp, attendees will be instructed by Northwestern coaches and current players on basic fundamentals, including dribble, passing, shooting, footwork, defense, etc., as well as participate in competitive drills and game competition.

Each player attending the camp will receive a camp T-shirt, basketball and camp certificate.

The Lady Ranger Summer Camp is for athletes entering second grade up to eighth grade. Costs for the camp are $175 for overnight campers, which includes meals and a stay in the NWOSU dorms, or $145 for commuter campers, meals included. Register by May 17 to be guarantee a T-shirt and a basketball.


The High School Skills Camp is for student-athletes entering their freshman year (grade nine) through their season year. Cost for the camp is $50, which includes a T-shirt and lunch.
