Politics in a divided Congress

"D.C. is not the real world; this is the real world," said Congressman Frank Lucas in opening his town meeting Thursday afternoon in Alva. Speaking in the Ranger Room on the NWOSU campus, Lucas talked about getting legislation passed with a divided Congress, work being done in his three committees and the talk about impeachment.

"What you live through and deal with each day is what is relevant to how we make those decisions back east," said Lucas. Before he left, he fielded questions from the audience.
