The teachers at Alva Middle School have selected Cristen Bosch and Bo Stewart, eighth grade; Avery McMurphy and Evan Ferguson, seventh grade; and Asia Blackledge and Arcadio Rosas, sixth grade, as AMS Students of the Month for August.

Cristen Bosch is in eighth grade and is the daughter of Amber and Hank Bosch. Her grandparents are Rick and Peggy Fox. Her favorite classes at AMS are science, history, and math.
