Monday night, Alva Mayor Kelly Parker said only six people have filled out forms to be members of the Alva swimming pool task force. He did say those applying represent a diverse group. He’s going to wait one more month for applications. Those forms may be obtained at the city office at 415 4th St.

At next month’s council meeting, Nov. 18, Parker intends to make appointments to the task force and expects to have one council member on the list.
