Suspect fatally shot, officer wounded in southeast Oklahoma

ADA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say one person was killed and an Ada police officer was wounded in a shooting in southeastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says in a news release that the shooting occurred Tuesday morning as Ada police attempted to serve undisclosed felony warrants and were met with gunfire from the suspect outside a home in the city about 65 miles (105 kilometers) southeast of Oklahoma City.
