In a post on social media Friday afternoon, Alva Mayor Kelly Parker announced the resignation of Joe Don Dunham, the city’s business manager.

Parker wrote, “It is with very mixed emotions that I announce the resignation of City Business Manager Joe Don Dunham. Joe Don has been a great leader for the City of Alva, helping us to accomplish millions of dollars in capital improvements, a number of cost saving measures, and several systems and procedures necessary for the future success of our community.
