Senior Payton Jones led the Alva Ladybugs to victory in the regional championship against Prague Saturday night, 53-46. Alva will advance to the area tournament at Western Heights in Oklahoma City next week. They'll play Millwood on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Millwood defeated Chisholm 52-44 Saturday.

The winner of the Alva vs Millwood game advances to state while the loser will play again Saturday night. Prague also advances to area but will have to win three games to make it to state.
