Candidate filing for county offices will begin Wednesday. The Woods County Election Board will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the three-day filing period April 8-10. The election board office is located in the Professional Building on Fourth Street in Alva.

Offices to be filled this year are County Commissioner District Number 2, County Clerk, County Court Clerk and County Sheriff.
