Oklahoma death toll reaches 42 as virus outbreak continues

 


OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Four more people have died in Oklahoma after contracting the coronavirus, bringing the state's death toll to 42, state health officials reported on Saturday.

Another 171 Oklahomans have tested positive for the virus as the total number of cases reached 1,159, the State Department of Health reported.

The four new deaths were two women and two men, with three of them over age 65. The victims were from Cleveland, Latimer, Osage and Washington counties.
