The Alva City Council will hold a special meeting Monday, June 8, that will include a public hearing on the annual fiscal year 2020-2021 budget. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. During the public hearing, individuals may make comments regarding the proposed budget.

Following the hearing, the city council agenda calls for action to go into closed executive session. That session is to discuss the employment, hiring and appointment of the city business manager and to discuss contract negotiations with IAFF Local 3872, which represents Alva firefighters.
