Alfalfa County approves resolution for Cares Act and Coronavirus Relief Fund

The Alfalfa County commissioners (Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall) got to work Monday morning and were welcomed by a full gallery in the conference room. Several guests were present to talk about the change in the Kelli KIT purchasing system. (The change is for the district barns and the commissioners' office in the courthouse.)

According to the agenda, procedures for highway encumbering purchase orders and reports with the County Clerk were up for discussion. A lengthy exchange ensued between the commissioners and district barn employees Ashley Shields, LaToya Hunter and Lena Roach....
