A drive-through flu clinic will be held in Alva next Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Health, the clinic will be held in the parking lot of the Alva Recreational Center, 1887 Goldbug Blvd. The recreation complex is located just north of the Woods County Fairgrounds and west of Northwest Technology.

The health department will give the flu shots free of charge, but if you have insurance you are asked to provide that information. This will help the health department to receive some reimbursement.
