Donation will buy defibrillators for Woods County

Monday the Woods County Commissioners voted to accept a donation from Bank It for $7,691.01 to be used to purchase automated external defibrillators. The donation will pay for 16 of the units with eight going to the sheriff's office, two to emergency management and one to each of the county fire departments.

OSU Extension Director Greg Highfill attended the meeting to present the cooperative extension services agreement between OSU and the county commissioners for FY 20-21. Highfill is full time at the Woods County office with Susan Holliday working 60 percent for Woods County and 40 percent f...
