Everything was in place for the Alva Bull Battle last spring when the pandemic shutdown occurred. All the plans were put on hold. But now Justin Dowdy is ready to try again.

Speaking at the Alva Tourism Tax Committee meeting Wednesday, Dowdy outlined plans for Bull Battle V. Sponsored by the Western Sports Committee LLC, the two-day event is planned for April 9-10. Just in case, Dowdy said the committee has some alternative dates in mind if that doesn't work out.
