Goldbugs lose to fast-paced Woodward 79-48

After a 51-43 loss to the Chisholm Longhorns in the first round of the Wheat Capital Tournament at Chisholm, the Goldbugs took on the Class 4A Woodward Boomers Friday afternoon. The Boomers were coming off an 89-88 loss to the OKC Knights.

Woodward has plenty of depth on their bench and uses a fast-paced approach to the game. The Alva Goldbugs tried to match that speed but couldn't keep up. Both teams had plenty of turnovers, but Woodward dominated the contest, winning 79-48.
