In a meeting Monday, the Woods County Commissioners approved the use of the courthouse lawn and stage for five dates for Washington Early Childhood Center and Alva Public Schools to hold spring concerts. The dates are April 15, April 16, May 3, May 5 and May 13.

Commissioner John Smiley presided in the absence of Randy McMurphy who was described as being “under the weather.” Commissioner David Hamil was present to make a quorum.
