Freedom Town Board hears complaint about loose dogs, defers reinstating compensation

 


A Freedom citizen voiced a complaint at the beginning of the meeting about loose pit bulls coming onto his property. He said he was attacked recently and had to beat the dog off with a hose. He asked the town to find a solution, but rules governing board meetings meant that while he could voice a complaint the board members were not allowed to respond in the meeting. City Clerk Cindy Reed told the citizen he could fill out a complaint form that would be followed up on.
