Alva High School alum Tony Crouch says, "I never really thought of myself as a writer." But he is now a published author with a book signing scheduled next week in Alva.

His book, "Letting God's Word Speak: Lessons on Deepening Your Faith," was inspired by a TV show and encouragement from friends. "One evening while watching the Len and Cathy Show teach on evangelism, I heard a voice in my spirit tell me to start a Facebook page dedicated to share scripture and how I apply it to life," Crouch said. "As I started sharing with friends, they began pushing me to expand into a book."
