Independents again may vote in Oklahoma Democratic primary

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma voters registered as an independent will again be allowed to vote in the state Democratic Party's primary election, according to state Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax.
The Democratic Party has sent notification that it will allow independents to vote in the party's 2022 and 2023 primaries, Ziriax said Friday.
"This means, there is no change for unaffiliated voters in 2022," Ziriax said. "As was the case in 2020 and 2021, independent voters may vote in Democratic Party primaries."
