MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State Track & Field team closed out a two-day meet in Manhattan, Kansas, hosted by Kansas State University.

The Friday events opened with weight-throwing. Two Northwestern athletes competed in weight-throwing: Kelsey Swindle and Shaylee Beck. Each qualified for the final round of the competition. Beck earned her personal best with 8.13 meters and Swindle finished inches off her personal best with 11.78 meters. Her personal best came from last week's season opener.
