Alva Goldbugs sink the Buccaneers 63-49

The Tonkawa Buccaneers proved to be tough opponents for the Alva Goldbugs Tuesday night. Alva took on the 89er Conference foe on the road.

The first quarter ended with a 15-15 tie as the Bucs hit three treys. The Goldbugs managed a three point lead at the end of the second quarter 31-28. In the third period, the Alva boys widened their lead 48-38 and gained more ground in the fourth to win 63-49.

First Half

Jackson Feely led off the first quarter with a three-pointer followed by a basket from Braden Hofen to give Alva a 5-0 lead. Chazz Slavens sank a trey for the Buccaneers, but Hofen answered...
