Man pleads guilty in shooting death of woman in Linwood

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (AP) — A rural Linwood man pleaded no contest Friday to fatally shooting his girlfriend in 2018.

Dan S. Flannagan, 67, was originally charged with second-degree murder in the death of Constance Perryman. His trial was scheduled to begin March 21.

Flannagan pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter. He will be sentenced April 8, the Leavenworth Times reported.

Perryman's body was found April 6, 2018, on property south of Linwood where she lived with Flannagan.
