Alva Airport Commission to meet Monday

 


The Alva Airport Commission will meet Monday, June 13, at 7 p.m. in the terminal building. After determining a quorum, the first item on the agenda is a voted to approve the minutes of March 14 meeting. Those minutes were accidentally omitted from the meeting packet earlier. Then a vote will be held to approve the May 9 minutes.

Commission members will hear a city council report and look at May financial reports. Then they’ll hear a report from Airport Manager Derrick Courson.

Next will be discussion and action regarding the Oklahoma Department of Transportation right-of-way project and an offer regarding necessary right-of-way and proposed easement. The ODOT project involves work on US-281 south from Oklahoma Boulevard to the Alva Regional Airport.

Commission members will discuss and vote approving an invoice for aviation fuel from ASAP Energy Inc. in an amount not to exceed $35,752.37.


At the end of the meeting, remarks may be made by commission members. Then any citizens attending may make remarks or inquiries limited to two minutes per speaker.
