Dusty cowboys, a hapless trio of adventurers and an angel who looks a lot like the Lone Ranger lead the youthful ACT I cast in a fond and faithful onstage re-telling of the Gospel story of the birth of Jesus on Nov. 17, 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m.

"'For Unto Y'all' is set in the Old West," said Director Thamazin Harrison. "This unconventional telling of the most amazing story of all is a modernized version of the Christmas story, set in the little town of Bethlehem, Wyoming Territory. Country and Western songs and cowboy trappings bring the story to life as Mary and Joseph arrive in Bethlehem and are shown to the stable by the local saloon owner. Our youth have had fun putting this production together, and are happy to present this as an early Christmas present to the community. This is one of several special productions scheduled as Alva Community Theatre, Inc. celebrates its 50th season of community theater."

The 'For Unto Y'All: A Cowboy Christmas' cast includes: Katelee Martin and Ralston Green as Doc, Kase Martin and Elijah Newton as Joseph, Joplin Bradt as Mary, Marley Browning and Fern Allen as Gabriel, Elliana Reames as Slim, Quinn Goss as Jim, Ben Kriegh as Clem, Emma Eckhardt as Gracie, Maci Lehr as Hyram, Landon Ware as Fred, Avaleigh Brinkley as Sarah, Audree Leon, Paisley Groves and Asa Thomas as Jasper, Abigail Ramirez as Lila, Asa Thomas as the Bartender, Samuel Newton, Tommy Newton, Ezekiel Newton, Jude Ramirez as the Buzbee Brothers, Georgia Kriegh, Makena Fowler, Isabella Newton and Evie Johnson as Cowgirls and Zofia Allen, Ellinore Allen, Lilly Sunshine, Paisley Groves, Nivia Levario, Audree Leon and Jazzlynn Fowler as Angels.

Production director is Thamazin Harrison and assistant director is Delaney Lambert. The stage crew includes, Aidan Brinkley, Kenadie Meyer and Aubrey Rohrer.
