Women's cross country closes 2022 season in Joplin

JOPLIN, Mo. – Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Cross Country closed out their 2022 season with the NCAA Regional meet in Joplin. The Rangers finished 35th in the meet with two runners in the top 200.

“The women competed hard today and ran very consistent moving up in race distance which is hard to accomplish. Emily Smith did a wonderful job leading the team today,” stated Coach Sterlin Broomfield.

Emily Smith led the way for Northwestern finishing 191st with a total time of 25:11.24 with an average mile time of 6:45.2 finishing first for the Rangers. Liberty Goodnow was second for Northwest...
