Students Andrew Barton and Max Quinlan from the Automotive Technology class at Northwest Technology Center in Alva were notified last week that they are recipients of scholarships courtesy of the Mid-America Tire Dealers Association. Barton and Quinlan are seniors at Alva High School and both are planning to eventually have careers in the automotive and tire industry. Scott Riley of K&S Tire made the pair aware of the scholarship application. K&S Tire is a member of the Mid-America Tire Dealers Association.
