Marking the beginning of the month, Alfalfa County commissioners Nate Ross, Mike Roach and Garret Johnson took care of the appropriate paperwork: signing monthly appropriations, allocating the alcohol beverage tax, and approving reports for highway expenditures and Court Clerk Records Management and Preservation.

After seeing to those items and the previous meeting minutes and blanket purchase orders, the three men approved a request for new account numbers for their Chart of Accounts. Those would be for property insurance for the County General Sale Tax account (1311-1-2000-2065) and the Highway District 4 account (1102-6-4000-2065).

Next, the commissioners signed the CSC Electronic ACH Agreement for e-filing in the county clerk's office and then approved publishing an indebtedness notice twice for fiscal year 2022-23. That notice states that vendors who do not submit an invoice by the end of September do not require the county to pay.

Lastly, they signed off on the written quote for repair to a bridge located in District 3. That bridge is located at Carter Road between county roads 600 and 610.
