Two injured when truck has blowout

Two passengers were injured when a truck had a blowout Friday in Grant County. The wreck occurred at 3:43 p.m. at OK-132 and McLain Road which is approximately three miles south of Manchester.

William H. Morgan, 39, of Wakita, was driving a 1982 Chevrolet truck northbound on OK-132 when a blowout occurred on the front passenger side. The truck departed the roadway to the right, coming to rest against an embankment.

Both passengers were transported by Miller EMS to Caldwell Regional Medical Center in Caldwell, Kansas, and transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Fawnia Roselyn Morgan, 42, of Enid, was admitted with leg injuries and listed in stable condition. Alizabeth Marie Sundvall, 23, of Enid, was admitted with head injuries and listed in stable condition.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Sundvall was ejected off of the back of the flatbed pickup.


Trooper Mason Sparks investigated, assisted by Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Grant County Fire, Medford EMS and Miller EMS.
