The Alfalfa County commissioners handled their weekly business quickly on Tuesday morning after Monday's holiday. County Clerk Laneta Schwerdtfeger joined Nate Ross, Mike Roach, and Garret Johnson, who began by approving previous meeting minutes, M&O payment warrants, and blanket purchase orders.

The three men signed several equipment disposal resolutions. One was for a 1997 500-gallon fuel tank on skids (Inv. no. D1 413-101, no Serial no.) and another for a 500-gallon fuel tank (Inv. no. D1 413-105, no Serial no.).

The others were for a 2018 HP LaserJet MFP printer (Inv. no. D2 220-212, Serial no. VNBKL3Q49V) and 1977 warehouse furniture (Inv. no. D2 102-201, no Serial no.).

Next, they signed the contract for Bellamy Auction on the old hospital lots 1 and 2 and the N ten feet of Lot 3, Block 3 in the Garber Addition of Cherokee, along with the warranty deed.

Following that was approval on a private property access easement in District 1 for the NE¼ of 17-27-11 to fix a low water crossing. They then signed a reimbursement/payment request for the FY 23 Emergency Management Performance Grant and then approved adding Darrin Lancaster as a receiving officer for Nescatunga Rescue, Aline Responders, Burlington Rescue, Carmen Rescue, Jet Responders, and Helena Rescue for Alfalfa County.

The commissioners approved the transfer of $1,000 from County General Personal Services account 0001-1-2000-1110 to Excise Board Personal Services 0001-1-2100-1110 for payroll until the budget is approved.

Lastly, they signed an error transfer correction from County General FICA account 0001-1-2300-1230 to Election Board Part-time account 0001-1-2200-1130 for $2.17 to correct matching FICA. Election Board Secretary Stephanie Jantz was present at the meeting. There wasn't any new business, and the commissioners adjourned the meeting.
