Northwestern's Tubabonium Christmas Concert Dec. 4, participants sought to play

On Dec. 4 Northwestern Oklahoma State University's instrumental music program will present the annual Tubabonium Christmas Concert at 6 p.m. in Herod Hall Auditorium.

This event is open to the public to watch or participate in. Individuals who play any low brass instrument, read bass clef or Bb treble clef, have been playing for a long time or just a few weeks are welcome to take part.

The instruments could include tuba, sousaphone, ophicleide, helicon, baritone, euphonium, saxhorn, serpent, trombone, bass trombone, sackbut and slushpump.

The event will consist of interesting and enjoyable music from traditional holiday tunes to classical, jazz, and pop, meeting new people, and having fun.
