Gravesides services for Tammy Hawkins will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Waynoka Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Tammy Sue Englett, daughter of the late Loretta Jane (George) Mantzke and Donald Lee Englett, was born October 23, 1965, at Leslie, Arkansas, and passed away December 13, 2023, at Enid, Oklahoma, at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 20 days.

Tammy grew up in Arkansas before moving to Oklahoma, living in Waynoka before moving to Enid. She loved being with family, being outside, was an animal lover, and enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles. She worked for several years as an LPN.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nona Englett; her brothers, Jerry Englett and Don Englett; a grandson, Juwlend Darr; and a brother-in-law, Donald Williams.

Tammy is survived by her sons, John Michael Wilson of South Carolina, and Jerrod Englett of Oklahoma; her daughters, Amanda Leary of Salina, Kansas, Lisa Darr and husband, Steve, of Alva, and Helen Hawkins of Alva; a brother, Freddy Mantzke of Pauls Valley; her sisters, Linda Plaster of Minnesota, Joan Williams of Mize, Mississippi, Loretta Saunders of Oklahoma City, and Kim Englett of Louisville, Mississippi.


Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Edyn, Ayden, Reyce, and Trysten Kelley, Mireya and Evalyce Leary, Degan and Alexandria Darr, and Benjamin Walker; other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home in her memory for funeral expenses.
