CHEROKEE – The Alfalfa County commissioners met for their regular meeting on Monday morning in the county courthouse.
After calling the meeting to order, the commissioners reviewed and approved the transfer of $8,300 from R-12 County General Reserve to H16-1A Assessor Personal Services as first order of business.
Once the transfer was approved, the commissioners approved their usual order of business such as last week’s minutes, M & O warrants for payment, blanket purchase orders and road crossing permits, along with payroll warrants.
Other items on the agenda that were reviewed and approved were:
• Resolution setting employee health premium amount paid by Alfalfa County for 2017,
• Eight declarations of surplus for county clerk,
• Eight resolutions for disposing of equipment.
Commissioner Chad Roach abstained from approving the declarations of surplus and resolutions for disposing of equipment.
