A felony charge has been filed in Alfalfa County against a North Carolina man. According to court documents, Richard Hall Jr., 66, of Milton, North Carolina, is suspected of staying at the Salt Plains Motel in Jet for over a month and then sneaking out with his belongings without paying his bill.
Hall has been charged with defrauding an innkeeper, a felony. He allegedly stayed at the motel between the dates of December 7, 2013, and January 13, 2014.
