UAM women's golf team finishes fall at HSU Invitational

HOT SPRINGS, ARK. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's golf team concluded the fall season with a third place finish at the Henderson State Invitational this past Monday and Tuesday, played at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Senior Lauren Johnson led the Blossoms as she finished the invitational shooting a 75 on day one and finished up day two today shooting an 85 for a 160 total score. Johnson placed eighth overall in the tournament out of 38 participants.

Junior Frida Rydberg (80, 82) finished in a tie for 10th overall in the competition, while freshman Belle Tan (78, 86) finished 13th overall, and fellow freshman Leah Rowe (84, 89) placed in a tie for 22nd. Junior Brianna Dickerson finished in a tie for 24th as well with scores of 90, and 85.

Henderson State University was the number one team in the event out of six total teams, with a two-round score of 621, followed by Southwestern Oklahoma State at 631 and then Arkansas-Monticello in third with a score of 655.
