Tigers fall in game two of the Ronnie Hawkins Invitational

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers' softball team fell by a final score of 10-4 against Missouri Western State. Sarah Johnson had two RBI's for the Tigers. The loss drops the Tigers' record to 1-1 on the season.

MWSU opened the game with a first inning run, but the Tigers responded in the third inning with three runs of their own. The scoring started when Macy Wilson hit a single down the right-field line and knocked in a run. On the next at-bat, Sarah Johnson hit a triple to knock Wilson in and Johnson was subsequently batted in by Daniella Brantley. In the fourth inning, Johnson picked up another RBI to extend the Tigers' lead to 4-1. The Tigers lost their lead in the 6th and 7th innings, however, when they conceded nine runs.

The Tigers will continue play in the Ronnie Hawkins Invitational with two games on Saturday, Feb. 4.
