MONTICELLO - The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's basketball team fell to Great American Conference foe Southwestern Oklahoma State Saturday afternoon, by a final score of 81-72.

The Blossoms (9-10, 6-9 GAC) despite only trailing the Bulldogs of SWOSU (14-6, 10-4 GAC) 35-34 at halftime, UAM could not rally to complete its comeback in the second half of the match-up. Arkansas-Monticello trailed as little as one point at various points in the second half, but Southwestern continued to find an answer to pull away, as the Bulldogs held a lead in this contest for nearly the entire game....
