This has been a very good May as far as deaths have gone. We are to the 19th day of May and Wharton Funeral Chapel and Marshall Funeral Home combined have only had one obituary for the month. Sadly, it was a 44-year-old girl that passed away this last week. Funeral business is so slow I thought I saw Bill Marshall applying for a job at a quick trip. Everyone please stay healthy so we can set a record for fewest number of funerals in one month.
