ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Southeastern was unable to carry over momentum from its Friday night win into Saturday afternoon, suffering a 3-0 loss at Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Ark.
The loss dips the Savage Storm to 6-17 on the season overall and 2-7 in Great American Conference play.
Arianna baker led the offense with 11 kills, while Abby Jameson added eight.
Alissa Benson dished out 33 assists and chipped in three kills, while posting a double-double with 13 digs.
Caitlin Cosby led all defenders with 18 digs, while Benson and Jameson each had 13.
Caroline Griffith turned in a team-best two blocks.
Each set was tight as the Storm fell 25-21 in the first and 25-22 in the second before OBU took the clinching set 25-20.
