Students at Burlington recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week, a national prevention awareness campaign for alcohol, tobacco, drugs and violence. Each day had a designated theme for everyone to dress up and show their support.

Monday's theme was "Too bright to do drugs." Students dressed in neon colors and sunglasses. The same day the student council did a presentation to pre-K through second grade on making sure they have a trustworthy adult give them medicine and about bullying. They also went around the school asking people to participate in a pledge against drugs.
